Administration - Assistant to the General Manager

Supervisor: General Manager
Hourly Wage: $10.00 to $13.00
Exempt: No
Gaming License: Category II

SUMMARY:

Schedules appointments, gives information to caller, takes dictation, and
otherwise relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and
business detail by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate files to
correspondence to be answered by employer.

Takes dictation in shorthand or by machine and transcribes notes on typewriter or
computer, or transcribes from voice recording.

Composes and types routine correspondence.

Files correspondence and other records.

Answer telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate
official and places outgoing calls.

Schedules appointments for General Manager.

Arranges travel schedule and reservations.

Compiles and types statistical reports.

Record minutes of staff meetings.

Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter.

Prepares outgoing mail.

To perform the essential duties of this job the team member may have to physically
perform the following functions in an eight hour day for the amount of time indicated.
